Cemaes Boat Club
Clwb Cychod Cemaes/Cemaes Boat Club is a voluntary organisation dedicated to the care, maintenance, and promotion of the classic lifeboat, the Charles Henry Ashley. The Charles Henry Ashley has a long and fascinating history, from its time as a working lifeboat based on the north coast of Anglesey from 1907, followed by de-commissioning in 1932 and dark days of neglect and near ruin, through meticulous restoration to a fully sea-worthy boat which was re-launched in 2009.
